Direct Method

 Hello welcome ✌🏽🌈 this we learned about the different teaching methods 👩🏻‍🏫 but the one we are going to talk about now is the direct method.

This method is based on total language immersion, which means that children or adults learn through oral 👄communication and constant practice,🏃🏻‍♀

The direct method is based on learning in depth the language we want to learn whether it is English, French, Italian, Chinese...etc.🇺🇸🇫🇷🇰🇷

To apply the teaching method of this method it is important that the teacher speaks 🗣 only in the language in which we want to learn, for example if we want to learn English 🇺🇸the teacher must speak in English all the time and use visual 👀 materials and gestures to help understand the meaning of the words, as long as we avoid our mother tongue we should avoid translations and encourage the active participation 🙋🏻‍♂of students.

We also learned that to apply the direct method it is first of all necessary to create an atmosphere of confidence and insecurity so that all students can express what they have learned in class with confidence🔐 without fear and without fear of being judged 🩷some of the advantages of the direct method is that students learn to communicate in a natural way and acquire a more authentic pronunciation, but also a more accurate pronunciation.📝

I learned that transmitting our knowledge and experiences that we have already had and the corrections that have already been given to us are helping to transmit the teaching method to other people.🌱
