Collaborative Approach

This week we study the collaborative approach.

To learn a new language we must communicate with our fellow learners. Studies say that learning in a group makes learning much faster and also reinforces practice when learning a new language.

The collaborative approach includes the following methods:

What is community learning?

Cooperative learning is a pedagogical methodology that is based on the teamwork of students to achieve common educational objectives.

To learn the language, you need your learning community, your “team” to support you.

What are collaborative activities?

Cooperative learning is a type of constructivist learning that considers the academic experience as a social fact within the classroom, and therefore raises the need for teamwork and the exchange of information between students.

These are activities in which students work cooperatively in pairs or groups. There are different and interesting activities to use during the learning process.
